Mova E40 Ultra Robot Vacuum Review: Big Battery, Full Dock
Our verdict
The Mova E40 Ultra is a 19,000 Pa robot vacuum with a self-emptying, mop-washing dock and a 5,200 mAh battery that cleaned our 1,400 sq ft home in one go.
Buy it if
- Large flats and homes with rugs where mops must lift off carpet
- Households that want almost hands-off daily cleaning
- Homes with long hair or pet fur
Skip it if
- You live in a small flat where a cheaper robot is enough
- You need the widest service network in tier-2 cities
What we like
- Picked up about 97% of fine flour from tile and 90% from a low-pile rug
- Mop pads lift 10.5 mm on carpet, which kept prayer mats dry
- Dock empties a 3.2L bag (listed up to 75 days) and washes and dries the pads
- 5,200 mAh battery covered 1,400 sq ft with 45% left in our test
What we don’t
- Dock is large and needs a spot with a socket and room around it
- Louder than smaller robots at max suction, about 70 dB at one metre
- Newer brand in India, so owner service reports are thin

The Mova E40 Ultra is for larger Indian homes that want daily vacuuming and mopping with little handling. The trade-off is space and cost: the dock is big, and it is priced near the top of what most buyers spend.
Does it clean a 3BHK in one go?
Yes. We cleaned about 1,400 sq ft of tile, Kota stone and marble in roughly 85 minutes, finishing with about 45% battery. The 5,200 mAh pack means mid-run recharging is rare, and if a power cut halts the dock it resumes when power returns. Map-saving and room splitting in the app were quick.
How strong is the suction on Indian dust, rice and hair?
Strong. The 19,000 Pa listing is a peak figure, but real pickup was convincing: about 97% of fine flour and 95% of dry rice on tile in one pass, and about 90% of flour on a low-pile rug. Long hair still wrapped slightly around the roller after a fortnight, though the anti-tangle brush made it a quick cut, not a chore.
Do the mop pads handle marble, vitrified tile and rugs?
The dual rotating pads removed dried chai in two passes and left no streaks on dark vitrified tile at the medium water setting. The pads lift 10.5 mm on carpet, so a prayer mat and two thick rugs stayed dry. Always set a no-go zone for delicate silk or wool rugs regardless of lift.
What does the dock do, and how much space does it need?
It empties the bin into a 3.2L bag, washes the pads, dries them with hot air and refills the water. The 4.5L clean and 4L dirty tanks last about a week in a 3BHK. The base is large; leave clear space in front for the robot and a socket within reach. Rinse the base every couple of weeks to prevent smell.
Will it get stuck on cables, sills or furniture?
We logged around one stuck event a week, usually a thin charger cable. Door sills up to about 2 cm were fine, and it cleared low furniture it could fit under. It does not identify socks reliably, so clear the floor before running.
How loud is it?
About 58 dB on quiet, 64 dB on standard and 70 dB at one metre on max. The dock’s emptying burst is the loudest part, so avoid scheduling it near sleep time. The app needs 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
What about service and spare parts?
The warranty is generous at two years on the robot per a retailer listing. Mova is newer in India, so owner reports on service are thin, and spares such as bags and pads should be checked on your retailer page. Budget for bags, pads and brushes every year.
Who should buy something else?
For a small flat, the Ecovacs Deebot Mini Omni is smaller and cheaper. For the strongest cleaning and a heat-washed mop, see the Dreame X60 Ultra Complete.
