Buying guide · Trimmers
The Xiaomi Mi Beard Trimmer 2C is the best beard trimmer we tested for most people: 40 length settings, about 88 minutes of runtime and USB-C charging at a low price. The Philips BT3231/15 is the main alternative if you want a brand with service centres in most towns, though it takes about 8 hours to charge.
Trimmers
The Xiaomi Mi Beard Trimmer 2C is the best budget beard trimmer in this group, with 40 length settings, a roughly 90-minute battery and USB-C charging for about ₹1,000.

The Philips BT3231/15 is a dependable 20-setting cordless beard trimmer for under ₹2,000 that cuts evenly and rarely pulls, though it charges slowly and lacks USB-C.
Trimmers
The Braun BT3321 is a precise 20-setting beard trimmer that cuts more cleanly than rivals at its price, though it costs more than Philips or Xiaomi and has a thinner service network.
Trimmers
The Philips MG3720/15 is a 7-in-1 grooming kit with a 60-minute battery and self-sharpening blades that suits households that share one kit, though a 16-hour charge is the main drawback.
Trimmers
The Syska HT750 is a stainless steel beard trimmer with 20 settings and a long battery that suits regular home trims, but its finish is coarser than Philips or Braun and it pulls on thick beards.
Trimmers
The Philips BG2024/15 is a body-only groomer with a 3 mm comb and about 50 minutes of runtime that is comfortable on chest and arms, but it is slow to charge and has no beard use.
Trimmers
The Beardo Ape X Prime 3-in-1 is a USB-C grooming trimmer with about two hours of runtime and three heads, but it offers limited length control and pulls hair on coarse beards.
Trimmers
The Philips BT1232/15 is a basic washable beard trimmer with three fixed combs and a 30-minute battery that suits light stubble upkeep but struggles with thick, coarse beards.
