Dreame X60 Ultra Complete Review: Premium, Hands-Free, Pricey
Our verdict
The Dreame X60 Ultra Complete is the most capable robot vacuum we tested for Indian homes, with strong pickup, camera avoidance and a heat-washing dock, but it costs far more than rivals.
Buy it if
- Busy households that want vacuuming, mopping and upkeep fully automated
- Homes with cables, slippers, pets, rugs and tall door sills
- Large flats where one robot must handle every room
Skip it if
- You are fine with a cheaper robot and a bit of weekly handling
- Your home has tight gaps below furniture or little room for a large dock
What we like
- Picked up about 98% of fine flour from tile and 94% from a low-pile rug
- Cameras avoided cables, slippers and a dog toy in every test run
- Pads are washed at 100 degrees C and dried with hot air, which removed all odour
- Dock empties a 3.2L bag, refills water and adds detergent
What we don’t
- Priced at roughly four times a mid-range robot
- Dock is big and loud during its washing cycle, about 70 dB
- Replacement pads, bags and detergent add up over a year

The Dreame X60 Ultra Complete is for households that want robot cleaning to need almost no human help and are happy to pay for it. The trade-off is plain: the result is excellent, but a cheaper robot gets you most of the way for a fraction of the price.
How well does it clean Indian floors?
Very well. On vitrified tile it lifted about 98% of fine flour and 97% of dry rice in a single pass, and about 94% of flour from a low-pile rug. Kota stone grit and gaps between tiles were also cleared. The 35,000 Pa listing is a peak figure, but even standard mode picked up more than most robots in max mode. Long hair from the family and the dog tangled the roller only mildly.
Does it avoid cables, slippers and pet mess?
This is where it justifies the price. In staged runs with charger cables, slippers, socks and a dog toy, it avoided them every time, and the 280-plus object recognition was visibly useful. It stopped for a transparent plastic bag, which is a sensible failure. The result is no stuck events across the six weeks, compared with one or two a week on camera-less robots.
How good is the mop and what does the dock do?
The pads spin at 230 RPM with 15 N pressure and are warmed to 40 degrees C, which loosened dried chai and oil drops in a single pass on marble and vitrified tile. The dock washes pads at 100 degrees C and dries them with hot air, removing the damp smell that cheaper docks leave in humid cities. It also empties dust into a 3.2L bag, refills water and adds detergent.
Can it climb thresholds and go under furniture?
Its retractable LiDAR turret drops to 7.95 cm, so it entered gaps under sofas and beds that block taller robots. It crossed a 2 cm sill in our flat. Check the clearance of your lowest furniture before buying, because the body itself is still about 10 cm tall.
How loud is it, and what does it need at home?
About 60 dB on standard cleaning and about 70 dB on max, and the dock’s washing and emptying is the loudest, at around 70 dB. The dock is large, so plan a corner with a socket and open space. The app needs 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and offers room-level control, scheduling and multi-floor maps.
What about running costs and service?
The recurring cost is real: bags, detergent, pads and brushes add up over a year, so check their prices before buying. Dreame lists a daily support helpline and service in many Indian cities, but one-year warranty terms and spares availability vary, and owner reviews mention slow technician visits on other Dreame models.
Who should buy something else?
Buy the Mova E40 Ultra for most of the performance at much less money, or the Ecovacs Deebot Mini Omni for a small flat.

Measured on the unit we tested.
How we tested
We ran the X60 Ultra Complete for six weeks in a 1,400 sq ft 3BHK with a dog, vitrified tile, Kota stone, marble and three rugs. We measured pickup of flour, rice and hair, mop streaking and stain removal, full-home coverage time, obstacle-avoidance on a staged floor with cables and slippers, and noise at one metre.
The brand lent us this unit. They did not see or approve this review. Loaned by Dreame India for six weeks and returned afterwards. No payment was made, and Dreame did not see the review before publication.

Mova E40 Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop A− 8.6
The Mova E40 Ultra costs far less and gets close on daily dust. The Dreame wins on obstacle avoidance, hot mop washing and stubborn stains, but the Mova is the better value.

Questions buyers ask
Is the Dreame X60 Ultra Complete worth the price in India?
Only if you want everything automated. The Dreame X60 Ultra Complete cleaned better and avoided more clutter than any robot we tested, but the Mova E40 Ultra gets close for far less money.
How does the Dreame X60 Ultra Complete wash its mop?
Its dock washes the rotating pads at 100 degrees C and dries them with hot air. The pads are heated to 40 degrees C while mopping, and they spin at 230 RPM.
Does the Dreame X60 Ultra Complete avoid cables and slippers?
Yes. Dual AI cameras and 3D structured light steered it around charger cables, slippers and a dog toy in every staged run. It did stop for a transparent plastic bag.
Can the Dreame X60 Ultra Complete clean under low furniture?
The LiDAR turret retracts to 7.95 cm, so it went under many sofas and beds that block taller robots, but the body still needs about 10 cm of clearance.
