Buying guide · Ceiling Fans
The Atomberg Renesa Enzel 1200mm is the best ceiling fan we tested: it drew 29 W at top speed, was the quietest at about 47 dB and ran about 21 hours on a 900 VA inverter. The Superfan Super X1 is the main alternative, a cheaper 36 W BLDC fan with a 5-year warranty listed, though its service network is smaller.
Ceiling Fans
The Atomberg Renesa Enzel 1200mm is a 28 W BLDC ceiling fan that moves as much air as a 75 W induction fan while running almost silently, which makes it a strong pick for bedrooms and inverter homes.

Ceiling Fans
The Havells Stealth Air 1200mm is a quiet 40 W BEE 5 star BLDC fan with an attractive finish and strong service reach, but it costs far more to buy than similar fans from Atomberg or Superfan.
Ceiling Fans
The Crompton Energion Hyperjet 1200mm is a 35 W BEE 5 star BLDC fan with a strong Hyper mode and wide service reach, though it is louder at top speed than the Atomberg and Havells.
Ceiling Fans
The Usha AeroEdge 1200mm is a 35 W BEE 5 star BLDC fan with whisper-quiet claims that held up reasonably in testing, and with a trusted brand name but few extras for the price.
Ceiling Fans
The Orient Aeroquiet 1200mm is a 35 W BLDC fan with 240 CMM airflow and a quiet motor, a competent choice for bedrooms that is held back by a basic remote and a sticker price above the Superfan.
Ceiling Fans
The Polycab Silencio Mini 1200mm is a low-cost 35 W BEE 5 star BLDC fan that saves power over induction fans, but it ran louder and with less airflow than the Superfan and Crompton in our tests.
Ceiling Fans
The Bajaj Speedster X 1200mm is a 66 W induction ceiling fan with 240 CMM airflow at a low price, easy to repair anywhere, but it costs several times more to run than a BLDC fan and has no remote.
