Which cleans Indian floors better?

The Dreame X60 Ultra Complete, by a small margin. Both lifted almost all the fine flour and dry rice from vitrified tile in one pass, and the Dreame pulled more flour out of a low-pile rug. In daily use on tile, Kota stone and marble, the difference is hard to see; on rugs it is clearer. Both had long hair wrap only mildly around the roller.

Is camera obstacle avoidance worth the extra money?

This is the real difference between the two. The Dreame’s cameras steered it around charger cables, slippers, socks and a dog toy in every staged run, and it had no stuck events in six weeks. The Mova E40 Ultra uses LiDAR without that recognition: it got stuck about once a week, usually on a thin charger cable, and does not identify socks reliably. If your floor is tidied before each run, the Mova loses little. If it is not, the Dreame saves you daily rescues.

Which has the better mop and dock?

Both docks empty the bin into a bag, wash the pads and dry them with hot air, so both are close to hands-off. The Dreame goes further: it washes pads at 100 degrees C, heats them while mopping and dispenses detergent, and it lifted dried chai and oil drops in a single pass where the Mova needed two. The Mova’s pads lift 10.5 mm on carpet, which kept a prayer mat and two thick rugs dry. Both docks are large, so plan a corner with a socket and open space for either.

Which is cheaper to own, and which has better service?

The Mova, on both counts in our reviews. Our estimate of yearly bags, pads, brushes and detergent is higher for the Dreame, and the Mova’s listed warranty is two years on the robot. Service is the weaker side of both: Mova is newer in India and owner reports are thin, and owners report slow technician visits on other Dreame models, so check spares on your retailer page before buying either.

Questions buyers ask

Is the Dreame X60 Ultra Complete better than the Mova E40 Ultra?

The Dreame X60 Ultra Complete cleaned slightly better and avoided cables and slippers that the Mova E40 Ultra can run into, but the Mova E40 Ultra delivered most of the daily result in our tests, and the Dreame costs roughly two and a half times as much.

Do the Mova E40 Ultra and Dreame X60 Ultra Complete both empty themselves and wash their mops?

Yes. Both docks empty dust into a 3.2L bag and wash and hot-air dry the rotating mop pads. The Dreame X60 Ultra Complete washes the pads at 100 degrees C and also adds detergent.

Which is quieter, the Mova E40 Ultra or the Dreame X60 Ultra Complete?

They are close. We measured the Dreame X60 Ultra Complete at about 60 dB and the Mova E40 Ultra at about 64 dB on standard suction, and both at about 70 dB on max at one metre.
