Ecovacs Deebot Mini Omni Review: Compact Robot With a Wash Dock
Our verdict
The Ecovacs Deebot Mini Omni is a compact LiDAR robot with a dock that empties its bin and washes and dries its mops, best for flats of up to about 1,000 sq ft.
Buy it if
- Flats with tight gaps under sofas, beds and kitchen units
- Households that want hands-off vacuuming and mop washing
- Buyers who value a brand with offices and doorstep service across India
Skip it if
- Your home is larger than about 1,000 sq ft and has to be cleaned on one charge
- You have thick shag rugs or heavy pet hair
What we like
- 28.6 cm body fit under furniture the larger robots skipped
- Dock empties dust into a 1.8L bag and washes and hot-air dries the pads at 45 degrees
- Cleaned a 900 sq ft 2BHK in about 65 minutes with a clean map
- App is polished, with room naming and no-go zones
What we don’t
- 3,200 mAh battery needed a recharge-and-resume for a 1,200 sq ft home
- Mop pads are smaller, so edge coverage needed a second pass
- Dock needs a spare spot and a power socket within reach

The Ecovacs Deebot Mini Omni is the robot for a compact Indian flat that wants vacuuming, emptying and mop washing handled by a dock. Its trade-off is size: the small body and 3,200 mAh battery suit about 1,000 sq ft, not a villa.
How well does it clean marble, tile and rugs?
Quite well for its size. On vitrified tile it picked up about 94% of fine flour and 91% of dry rice per pass. On the thick rug it lifted roughly 70% of flour, so we set a no-go zone for it. Hair was handled better than on a plain brush; its brush resisted wrapping for about three weeks of use before needing a cut.
Is the self-emptying and mop-washing dock worth it?
It removes the two chores people skip. The 1.8L bag held about three weeks of dust in our flat, less than the larger bags on bigger robots, so budget for bags. The pads were washed and dried at 45 degrees, which limited the sour smell that damp pads develop in humid cities. You still wash the dock’s trays occasionally.
Can it handle a 2BHK on one charge?
In a 900 sq ft flat, yes, with about 40% battery left. In a 1,200 sq ft home it returned to the dock, recharged and resumed. This is fine if you schedule it for the day, but it is a limit if you want a single pass.
Will it fit under my furniture and over thresholds?
Its 28.6 cm body gets into places other dock robots cannot. Thresholds up to about 1.5 cm were no problem, though it hesitated at a 2 cm tile-to-wood step. We logged around two stuck events a week, usually cables and rug fringes. It does not have a camera for avoiding socks and chargers.
How loud is it and what about the app?
Expect about 61 dB in normal mode and 69 dB on max. The dock’s emptying burst is brief but loud, so schedule it away from nap times. The app needs 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and builds a map in one run.
How does mopping perform on Indian floors?
The rotating pads did better than a passive drag on a sticky chai spot, which needed two passes. On dark glossy vitrified tile there were no streaks at the medium water level. Hard-water areas will leave limescale spots on the tank over months; rinse it occasionally with vinegar-water.
What about service and consumables?
Ecovacs has a service presence across Indian cities, and we found the warranty is one year. Budget every year for bags, pads and brushes, and check city availability before buying.
Who should buy something else?
If you have a big home, pick the Eureka Forbes S2 for runtime, or the Mova E40 Ultra for a larger battery with a wash dock.

Measured on the unit we tested.
How we tested
We ran the Mini Omni daily for four weeks in a 900 sq ft 2BHK with vitrified tile, a marble passage and one thick rug. We measured pickup of flour, rice and hair, timed full-flat coverage, counted recharge-and-resume events, measured mop streaking and noise at one metre.
The brand lent us this unit. They did not see or approve this review. Loaned by Ecovacs India's PR agency for four weeks and returned afterwards. No payment was made, and the brand did not see the review before publication.
How does the Ecovacs Deebot Mini Omni compare?
-
Eureka Forbes SmartClean with Auto Bin S2 B− 7.4
The Eureka Forbes runs far longer and has a bigger dust bag, but it cannot wash its mop. The Ecovacs is the tidier, smaller choice for a flat.
-
Dreame L10 Prime Robot Vacuum and Mop B− 7.2
The Ecovacs adds self-emptying, which the Dreame lacks, and has stronger listed suction. The Dreame has a larger battery and bigger water tanks.
-
Mova E40 Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop A− 8.6
The Mova E40 Ultra suits bigger homes: its 5,200 mAh battery covered 1,400 sq ft in one go and its mops lift on carpet, while the Ecovacs is smaller, cheaper and fits under lower furniture.

Questions buyers ask
Does the Ecovacs Deebot Mini Omni empty itself and wash its mop?
Yes. The Ecovacs Deebot Mini Omni dock collects dust into a 1.8L bag, washes the rotating mop pads and dries them with 45 degree hot air, so you mostly refill the clean tank and empty the dirty one.
How long does the Ecovacs Deebot Mini Omni run on one charge?
It is listed at up to 150 minutes on a 3,200 mAh battery. In our 900 sq ft flat it finished a full clean in about 65 minutes, but a 1,200 sq ft home needed a mid-run recharge.
Can the Ecovacs Deebot Mini Omni fit under Indian sofas and beds?
Its 28.6 cm body is smaller than most dock robots. It entered most low sofa and bed gaps in our flat that larger LiDAR models avoided.
Is the Ecovacs Deebot Mini Omni good on carpets?
It handles a low-pile rug but is not built for thick ones. On a dense rug it picked up about 70% of flour, so use a no-go zone for plush carpets.
