Dreame R10 Pro Cordless Vacuum Review: Long Runtime, Light Body
Our verdict
The Dreame R10 Pro is a lightweight cordless stick vacuum that gives about an hour of cleaning and strong pick-up for its price, but Dreame's India service reach is still thin.
Buy it if
- Medium to large flats that need one battery to cover several rooms
- Buyers who want near-Dyson cleaning at a much lower price
- Homes with long hair, where the brush needs to resist tangles
Skip it if
- You live in a small town with no Dreame service nearby
- You need a large dust bin for heavy daily dust
What we like
- Rated at 150 AW suction with up to 65 minutes of runtime
- Cleaned 2BHK on one charge with battery to spare
- LED head light shows dust under beds and sofas
- Lighter and better balanced than most cheaper sticks
What we don’t
- Dust bin is small and fills quickly in dusty homes
- Service network and spares are limited outside metros
- No digital display for remaining runtime

The Dreame R10 Pro suits households that want one battery to last through a whole flat and are comfortable with a younger brand. Its trade-off is support: performance is close to the premium names, but spares and service in India are harder to count on.
How much does the battery actually run?
Dreame lists up to 65 minutes. In eco mode we got about 58 minutes, and in the strongest mode about 14 minutes. A 2BHK took roughly 26 minutes with the standard floor head, so a single charge also covered the car. That is better than most sticks in this batch.
Does it pick up daily fine dust?
On tile it removed about 95% of a fine-dust patch in one pass, a little below the Dyson. The LED light on the head made a real difference under the bed and sofa, where dust is otherwise invisible. Rice needed two passes on rough tile.
How is it on sofas, curtains and car seats?
Fabric sofas came out about 86% clean with the handheld nozzle. The unit is light, so overhead curtain work is far easier than on heavier cleaners. Car seats and footwells were clean in under ten minutes.
Does it handle pet hair and long hair?
Long hair on a rug was picked up at about 94% without wrapping around the brush, a common irritation with cheaper heads. If you have a shedding pet, expect to empty the bin often, since it is small.
Is it loud, and does the filter clog?
About 74 dB at one metre in normal mode. In a dusty flat the filter showed lower suction after roughly three weeks, and rinsing restored it. Let it dry fully before refitting.
What about service in tier-2 cities?
This is the weak spot. Owner feedback often mentions slow service replies and long waits for spares, and the dealer network is much smaller than Dyson’s or Eureka Forbes’. Buy from a retailer with an easy return policy and keep the invoice.
Who should skip it?
Skip it if you rely on walk-in service, or want a dust bin that holds a few days of dust. The Eureka Forbes K20 is a safer service bet at a similar price.
Is it comfortable to use for long sessions?
Yes, better than most. It is light and balanced enough that we could clean for the full runtime without wrist strain. The bin and filter are easy to remove, though the small bin means more trips to the dustbin in a dusty home.
Should I worry about warranty and the battery?
Retailer listings state one year, while some other countries get two, so confirm the term on the card. Ask whether the battery is replaceable and where. Given the thin service network, we would buy it from a seller with a solid return policy and register the unit the day it arrives.

Measured on the unit we tested.
How we tested
We used a loaned R10 Pro for five weeks in a flat with tile floors, a fabric sofa and a hatchback. Each dust, rice and pet-hair test was repeated three times, runtime was logged from a full charge, and noise was measured at one metre.
The brand lent us this unit. They did not see or approve this review. Dreame lent us this unit for five weeks and asked for it back. It had no say in the score or the text.
How does the Dreame R10 Pro Cordless Vacuum Cleaner compare?
-
Dyson V8 Absolute Cordless Vacuum Cleaner A− 8.7
The Dyson picked up slightly more fine dust from the sofa and has better service. The Dreame lasted nearly twice as long on a charge and costs much less.

Questions buyers ask
How long does the Dreame R10 Pro battery last?
Dreame rates the R10 Pro at up to 65 minutes. In our test, the eco mode ran about 58 minutes and the high mode about 14 minutes, enough to clean a 2BHK on one charge.
Is the Dreame R10 Pro good for pet hair?
Yes, mostly. The Dreame R10 Pro picked up about 94% of long hair from a rug with little wrapping on the brush, though the small bin needs frequent emptying.
