Vacuum Cleaners Review
Nuuk REN GO Cordless Handheld Vacuum Review: Not Recommended
Our verdict
The Nuuk REN GO is a small, cheap cordless handheld vacuum that is fine for a quick car crumb clean but has weak suction, a tiny bin and a short battery that cannot clean a home.
Buy it if
- Occasional crumb pick-ups in a car or on a desk
Skip it if
- You want to clean sofas, floors or curtains
- You expect the battery to last more than a few minutes of real use
- You want a long warranty and a service centre nearby
What we like
- Light and easy to hold, with USB Type-C charging
- Seven attachments and a storage bag in the box
- Cheap enough to treat as a car-glovebox gadget
What we don’t
- Suction fell well short of its 11,000 Pa claim on sofas and fine dust
- Only 110 ml bin, which filled in minutes on tile
- Rated 20 min in Eco and 12 min in Turbo, and our unit gave less after a month
- Cannot be used while charging, and takes about 3 hours to recharge
- Warranty term is unclear on retailer pages; service reach is unproven

The Nuuk REN GO is, at best, a glovebox gadget for a few car crumbs. For anyone hoping to clean sofas, floors or a whole room, the suction, bin and battery all fall short, and we cannot recommend it.
Is 11,000 Pa enough to clean a sofa?
Not in our hands. The pick-up from a fabric sofa was about 45% in a single pass, and fine dust that sat in the weave stayed there. On tile it cleared roughly 62% of a fine-dust patch, leaving a visible haze. One early buyer note on a marketplace listing says suction is low compared with a corded cleaner, and our results match that. Pa figures on small handhelds describe peak airflow with a clean filter and a bare nozzle, not real cleaning.
How long does the battery really last?
Nuuk rates up to 20 minutes in Eco and 12 in Turbo. We timed about 16 and 8 minutes on a new charge, and after a month of regular use the Eco run fell to roughly 12 minutes. Another buyer wrote that heavy use drains it quickly and suggested batching jobs. A recharge takes about 3 hours, and the unit does not run while charging, so you cannot carry on during a job.
Does the small bin matter?
Very much. At 110 ml the bin filled after about four minutes on dusty tile and had to be emptied mid-job. In a dusty city with daily fine dust, expect to empty it several times for a single bedroom. The filter also clogged quickly; suction dropped after about five days until we rinsed the steel mesh.
Does it work for cars, desks and curtains?
Car seats and mats are where it does best. Loose crumbs and sand disappeared without trouble. Curtains and sofas are another matter, as suction is too weak. It is light and the USB Type-C charging is convenient, but it cannot be charged through a car socket directly, as some buyers noted.
How sturdy is it, and what about warranty and service?
The plastic body is acceptable for the price, but the attachments felt thin, and the latch on the bin loosened over six weeks. Retailer pages list a brand warranty without a clear term, and the Nuuk site mentions 1 plus 1 year on registration. We found no widespread service network, so a failed battery would likely mean a courier. Spare batteries and filters are not easy to find.
What should I buy instead?
For a similar price, the Eureka Forbes 2 in 1 NXT is corded but cleaned our sofa far better and comes with proper service. For a cordless stick, the Eureka Forbes K20 is a much stronger buy.

How we tested
We used a purchased REN GO for six weeks on sofas, car seats, tile and a desk. Pick-up tests were repeated three times, runtime was timed on full charges in both modes, and we noted battery changes over the month.
We bought this unit at retail price.
How does the Nuuk REN GO Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner (11,000 Pa) compare?
-
Eureka Forbes 2 in 1 NXT Handheld Vacuum Cleaner C 6.8
The corded Eureka Forbes handheld costs about the same, has steady suction, a larger bin and a service network, and cleaned the sofa nearly twice as well (about 84% against 45%). The Nuuk is cordless but weaker on every cleaning task we tried.
-
Eureka Forbes Kordfree K20 SuperSilent Cordless Vacuum Cleaner B 7.8
The Eureka Forbes K20 is a full cordless stick that picked up about 93% of fine dust from tile against about 62% and ran about 44 minutes on low against about 16 in Eco, but it costs far more.

Questions buyers ask
Is the Nuuk REN GO good for cleaning a car?
For light crumbs, yes. The Nuuk REN GO cleared loose crumbs from car seats, but removed only about 45% of embedded dust from a fabric sofa and filled its 110 ml bin quickly.
How long does the Nuuk REN GO battery last?
Nuuk rates up to 20 minutes in Eco and 12 in Turbo. We got about 16 and 8 minutes on a new charge, and noticeably less after a month, with a recharge taking about 3 hours.
Can the Nuuk REN GO be used while charging?
No. Nuuk's own FAQ says it does not work while charging, so you must wait for the battery.
Is the Nuuk REN GO worth buying?
We do not recommend it for home cleaning. A corded handheld such as the Eureka Forbes 2 in 1 NXT costs about the same and cleans better.
