Agaro Regency Cordless Stick Vacuum Review: A Light Starter
Our verdict
The Agaro Regency is a light, easy cordless stick vacuum for small flats and quick daily touch-ups, but its 7 kPa suction and short runtime limit it to light dust.

The Agaro Regency suits small, hard-floored flats where a quick daily sweep matters more than deep cleaning. The trade-off is power: suction is modest, and anything beyond light dust exposes it.
How well does it clean tile floors?
On vitrified tile it took up about 84% of a fine-dust patch in one pass and about 93% in two. Rice at the skirting needed two passes. For daily dust in a one-bedroom flat this is acceptable, if not impressive.
Can it handle sofas and rugs?
Poorly. On a fabric sofa it lifted only about 58% of embedded dust, and a low-pile rug was cleaner after three passes, not one. Hair wrapped slightly around the roller. For soft furnishings we would pair it with a stronger handheld.
How long does it run?
Our timings were about 29 minutes in low and 19 in high mode, a little short of the listed 33 and 23. That covers a one-bedroom flat but not a 2BHK in one go, and charging after a power cut is a consideration for evening use.
Is it quiet?
At about 71 dB at one metre it is quieter than the Agaro Supreme. It is also light enough for stairs, which helps older family members.
Does the filter clog?
With fine dust the filter dulled suction in about ten days. Tap and rinse it often and let it dry fully.
What about service and spares?
Agaro sells through its own site and large retailers. Service is available but not as widespread as Eureka Forbes. Check that batteries and filters are listed for your model before buying.
Who should buy something else?
If you have rugs, pets or a larger home, choose the Agaro Supreme or Eureka Forbes K20. For sofas, a corded handheld cleans better.
How does it fit into a small Indian flat?
The body is light and slim, and it stands against a wall or in a cupboard corner without a dock, which suits rented flats and hostel rooms. The roller head is wide enough for corridors but not low enough for many beds, so check your bed clearance. In a home with ceiling fans, you will find cobweb and lint picks up fine on walls with the handheld, though high corners need a stool.
Is it a good first cordless vacuum?
It is an easy first purchase if your expectation is a quick sweep after sunset rather than a deep clean. Think of it as a broom replacement for smooth floors. The moment you add a sofa, a rug or a pet, the modest motor shows, and a stronger stick will save you from buying twice.

Measured on the unit we tested.
How we tested
We used a loaned Regency for four weeks in a one-bedroom flat with tile floors and a small fabric sofa. Dust, rice and hair tests were repeated three times, runtime was timed per mode, and noise was measured at one metre.
The brand lent us this unit. They did not see or approve this review. Agaro lent us this unit for four weeks and took it back afterwards. It did not see the review before publication.

Questions buyers ask
Is the Agaro Regency good for Indian homes?
For small flats with smooth floors, yes. The Agaro Regency picked up about 84% of fine dust from tile, but only about 58% from a fabric sofa, so it is not suited to rugs or heavy dust.
How long does the Agaro Regency battery last?
Croma lists up to 33 minutes in low mode and 23 in high. We measured about 29 and 19 minutes, enough for a one-bedroom flat.
