The Levoit Core 300S is a good fit for a small bedroom or home office where you want a quiet, connected purifier. It is compact, controlled through an app and sold with a long warranty. The trade-off is airflow: its CADR is modest by Indian winter standards, so it struggles in anything above a small room.
How well does it clean a small room?
In a 120 sq ft home office it took 15 minutes to bring PM2.5 from about 300 to under 35 ug/m3. In the 180 sq ft bedroom it took 27, five minutes behind the Coway. Review sources put CADR near 240 m3/h, which fits our result. We would not use it above 200 sq ft in November.
How quiet is it?
This is its strength. On the lowest speed it measured about 27 dB at 1 metre and on top speed about 51 dB, the quietest top speed in this group. The display dims at night and the unit sits on a bedside table without drawing attention.
What do the app and smart features add?
The VeSync app handles schedules, fan speed and an Auto mode, and Alexa compatibility lets you switch it by voice. It shows PM2.5 and filter life. Against our reference monitor the PM2.5 reading stayed within about 15 percent. There is no gas sensor.
What about filters and running costs?
The filter combines pre-filter, HEPA H13 and activated carbon in one cylinder. We did not find a stable India replacement price, and spares are mostly sold online through the seller, so check availability before buying. Plan on a change every 6 to 9 months in Delhi. Power draw on top speed measured about 28 W.
How about service in smaller cities?
Levoit is an imported brand and service points are limited outside metros. That makes the long warranty harder to use. Keep the invoice and the box.
Who should skip it?
A living room or a bedroom above 200 sq ft needs a faster unit such as the Xiaomi or the Boon Airvana.

How we tested
Levoit's India distributor loaned us a Core 300S for four weeks in a 120 sq ft home office and a 180 sq ft bedroom, with outdoor AQI between 270 and 450. We timed PM2.5 clean-up from about 300 to under 35 ug/m3, measured noise at 1 m, logged wall power and checked the app readout against a handheld reference monitor.
The brand lent us this unit. They did not see or approve this review. The Levoit distributor loaned the review unit for four weeks and took it back afterwards. The distributor had no say in this review or its score.

The Honeywell Air Touch i8 is a competent 300 m3/h purifier with H13 HEPA and a simple touch panel, but it lacks the sensing and smart features of newer rivals.
