Beurer BM 27 BP Monitor Review: Four Users, Wide Cuff
Our verdict
The Beurer BM 27 is a no-app upper-arm BP monitor with four user memories and a cuff listed for 22-42 cm arms, a good fit for larger families and bigger arms, though service reach is thinner than Omron's.

The Beurer BM 27 suits larger households and anyone with a bigger upper arm, because it has four user memories and a cuff listed up to 42 cm. The trade-off is limited service information in India and no phone sync.
How consistent is the Beurer BM 27?
Across 50 paired readings it averaged 2 mmHg above our reference monitor on systolic and 1 mmHg above on diastolic. Three readings a minute apart varied by about 4 mmHg systolic, slightly behind the Omron HEM-7121 but ahead of budget models. A reading took about 35 seconds. We did not run a clinical validation study. Look the exact model up on validatebp.org and compare it once with your doctor’s device.
Does it fit larger arms?
This is its strongest point. A 1mg listing gives a 22-42 cm cuff, and the cuff closed with a comfortable overlap on our 24 to 38 cm arms, where the Omron HEM-7121 struggled above 32 cm. A cuff that is too small reads high, so measure the arm midway between shoulder and elbow before choosing any model.
Is it good for a household with four people?
Four user memories of 30 readings each mean parents and grandparents can keep separate records. Thirty readings per user is modest. If you take two sessions a day, the memory covers about two weeks, so copy the numbers into a diary or photograph the screen. There is no app.
How should I measure blood pressure at home?
Sit with your back supported and feet flat, rest for five minutes, put the bare arm on a table with the cuff at heart level, and stay silent. Take two readings a minute apart and note both. Home readings do not replace a doctor’s diagnosis. The coloured risk scale and arrhythmia warning are prompts to share the readings with your doctor.
Is it simple for elderly parents?
Mostly. The display is clear and the cuff position check beeps if it is wrongly placed. The user-select step trips some elders, so mark the memory number on the unit with a sticker. A tester aged 72 managed readings alone after one demonstration. Keep the cuff tube clear of the arm and avoid folding the cuff tightly when storing it, since a kinked tube is a common cause of error messages on any monitor.
What about batteries and power?
Our loan period passed with regular use and no low-battery warning, but we could not confirm the exact power spec on the retailer pages we read, so check the box for batteries and adapter. Keep spare cells at home as power cuts are common.
What about service and warranty?
We could not find a clear Indian warranty term or service network on the pages we read, and retailer listings disagree on price. Ask the seller for the warranty card before buying, and keep the invoice.
Who should buy something else?
Buyers who need a clear service network in a smaller town may prefer the Omron HEM-7121. If you want an app, the Omron HEM-7156T adds Bluetooth and also covers up to 42 cm.

How we tested
The unit was lent for four weeks. Six adults in two households took morning and evening readings, three a minute apart, compared with a validated reference upper-arm monitor on the other arm (50 paired readings). We timed readings, tried arms from 24 to 38 cm and noted battery use over the loan.
The brand lent us this unit. They did not see or approve this review. Beurer's Indian distributor lent us this unit for four weeks and took it back afterwards. It did not see the review before publication.

Questions buyers ask
What arm size does the Beurer BM 27 fit?

Is the Beurer BM 27 accurate?
It averaged about 2 mmHg above our reference upper-arm monitor, with three readings varying by about 4 mmHg systolic. We did not run a clinical validation, so check validatebp.org and compare with your doctor's device.
How many users can the Beurer BM 27 store?
The Beurer BM 27 stores four user memories with 30 readings each, with date and time. Once full, new readings replace the oldest.
