Which bakes better, the Samsung MC32A7035CT or the IFB 30SC4?

Both bake a sponge cake evenly, but the Samsung MC32A7035CT was the quicker and more flexible of the two in our reviews. It preheated faster, and two trays of cookies on separate racks browned almost alike once swapped halfway, so you can bake a full batch at once. The IFB 30SC4 baked an even sponge and browned a loaf well with a quarter-turn, but its temperature tops out at 200 °C, so very hot pizza bakes take longer.

Which is easier to keep clean?

The Samsung, on daily wipe-downs. Its ceramic enamel cavity wiped clean after dal and gravy splatter, and Samsung covers the cavity for ten years. The IFB 30SC4 has a steam clean cycle that loosened tomato gravy in a few minutes, but its stainless steel cavity shows grease and can scratch if scrubbed with steel wool. If you hate scrubbing, the Samsung’s cavity matters more than the IFB’s steam cycle.

Which is better for Indian cooking: curd, batter and tikka?

The IFB 30SC4 does more here. Its yoghurt mode set curd overnight, its fermentation mode helped idli and dosa batter rise, and its 101 auto menus and multi-stage cooking handled reheating, defrosting and basic Indian dishes on the first try. The Samsung MC32A7035CT also sets curd overnight and has local-taste presets, and its SlimFry crisps frozen snacks with a light spray of oil. Both brown paneer tikka with decent colour but no smoky char.

Which is easier to live with day to day?

The Samsung’s buttons and jog dial were simple enough for older family members to reheat and defrost without help, while the IFB’s membrane keypad feels basic. On power, the IFB 30SC4 draws about 2.2 kW in convection mode and tripped a 3 kVA inverter’s overload warning once with the geyser on; the Samsung ran microwave mode on a 3 kVA inverter without complaint, but its convection mode also draws more, so bake on mains power if your inverter is small. Measure your counter first: the Samsung needs roughly 55 cm of width.
