Both are big dual-basket air fryers for families of four to six, and both cooked 1 kg of fries in one round. The Philips is the more polished machine with better support; the Agaro gets you most of the way for clearly less money.
Which cooks tikka and fries better?
The Philips. Its chicken tikka browned evenly with one flip, and it finished 1 kg of frozen fries a minute or two sooner. The Agaro cooks well, but it heats unevenly if only one basket is filled and the other left empty for long, so fill both or use the single-basket preset.
How are the baskets different?
The Philips splits its 9 L into a 6 L and a 3 L drawer, so a main and a smaller side fit naturally. The Agaro has two equal 4.5 L baskets. Both let you set each basket’s time and temperature separately.
Which uses more electricity?
The Agaro, slightly. A 25-minute session with both baskets running used about 0.70 kWh on the Agaro and about 0.62 kWh on the Philips. Either uses more than a single-basket fryer per session but cooks roughly double the food. Both need a 15 A socket.
Which has better service?
The Philips. Philips has service centres in most large cities and many mid-size ones. Agaro sells largely online with a smaller service presence, and replacing a heating assembly can take weeks in smaller towns, so register the Agaro on day one and keep the invoice.
Questions buyers ask
Which cooks faster, the Philips NA352/00 or the Agaro Imperial 34029?
The Philips NA352/00, by a small margin. It cooked 1 kg of frozen fries across both baskets in about 17 minutes, against about 19 minutes for the Agaro Imperial 34029 in our tests.
Do the Philips NA352/00 and Agaro Imperial 34029 need a 15 A socket?
Yes. The Philips NA352/00 is rated 2300 W and the Agaro Imperial 34029 2400 W, so both draw about 10 A and need a 15 A socket with a heavy-duty plug. We would not run either on a home inverter below 3 kVA.
Which is quieter, the Philips NA352/00 or the Agaro Imperial 34029?
They are close. We measured about 62 dB for the Philips NA352/00 and about 63 dB for the Agaro Imperial 34029 at one metre with both baskets running, so both are louder than single-basket air fryers.
